Overview

Have a great time as you encounter gorillas while on this 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Habituation Trek that will take place in Bwindi impenetrable national park. This experience is unique and can only be done in the Rushaga sector. This experience rewards you with a chance to spend 4 hours with the gorilla family. Bwindi National Park is famous for hosting almost half of the total population of gorillas in the world.

Detailed Itinerary

Day1. Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Be picked up from the airport and transferred to Bwindi National Park, home to almost half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world. The journey consists of great scenery of tea plantations, rolling hills, terraced land and other beautiful views. Arrive and head to the lodge for your dinner.

Day2. Gorilla habituation

Wake up early and head to the park offices for briefing. Here, be told about the dos and don’ts such as not feeding animals, keeping a distance from the animals, not littering the park premises, not mimicking and more. Begin the search which can even take about 8 hours. On meeting the gorilla family, spend a maximum of 4 hours in the presence of the gorilla family and this creates unforgettable memories. While in the forest, meet other animals like Elephants, buffaloes, African golden cats, bush pigs, giant forest hogs and more. Return to the lodge with a certificate of gorilla habituation.

Day3. Head back to Kampala

Leave the lodge and head back to Kampala with enroute lunch at the equator where you will also take photos and do experiments. Proceed to Kampala and be dropped at an agreed point.
