Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our company guide. He or she will take you through the 6 Days Uganda Gorilla Tour. You will embark on the drive to Lake Mburo National Park via the Uganda Equator. Upon arrival check in to your lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon Boat cruise on Lake Mburo

After breakfast, go for an amazing game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. You will meet several animal species like leopards, zebras, impalas, giraffes and many more. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, you will take on a boat cruise at Lake Mburo. It will introduce you to water animals like crocodiles and hippos. The lake is also a perfect birding destination. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and afternoon boat cruise

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is Uganda’s most famous destination known for being home to the tree-climbing lions. Lunch will be along the way. Once you arrive, you will take a boat cruise at Kazinga Channel. The channel is a meeting point for many wild animals and birds, especially during the dry seasons. Check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and go for an en—route game drive in the Ishasha sector. You will get up close to tree-climbing lions and many other animals. Continue with an en-route lunch to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Mountain Gorilla trekking and Batwa Community tour

After breakfast, you will go to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will start your gorilla trekking session Upon meeting the gorilla family, you will spend one hour in their presence. Return to your lodge for relaxation and lunch.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Batwa communities for an amazing Uganda cultural tour. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Kampala – Departure

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on the drive to Kampala. Lunch will be en route. The driver guide will drop you at a hotel in Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for an outbound flight. This marks the end of your amazing 6 Days Uganda Gorilla Tour.
